Fishing licenses, Taxes and other incidentals are not included. Certain waters have an additional fee, please inquire to Andres FlyFishing for details on Day Trips out of Fernie or Calgary. Rates below are for 1 or 2 anglers.

PACKAGE RATES
Accommodation and fishing packages with Andres FlyFishing can be completely customized based on the destination, the number of nights lodging, and the number of guided fishing days.
Andres Fly Fishing can arrange Bow River packages as well in conjunction with the Glenmore Inn in Calgary, Alberta and CAN set up Bow River, Elk River combo trips! Please call Andres Flyfishing for details and custom package pricing.
All prices are quoted in US Dollars (USD). The following rates are based on double occupancy in the room and with the guide.
Standard – Fernie Best Western Package – Double Queen Beds
5 Nights / 4 Days of Fishing = $5.390 USD / 2 Anglers. (tax not included)
4 Nights / 3 Days of Fishing = $4.100 USD / 2 Anglers. (tax not included)
Premium – The Historic 901 – 2 Single Bedrooms (Breakfast or Dinner not included, but walking distance for good options)
5 Nights / 4 Days of Fishing = $6.425 USD / 2 Anglers. (tax not included)
4 Nights / 3 Days of Fishing = $5.050 USD / 2 Anglers. (tax not included)

- Wigwam and Kootenay river not included on the program.
Clothing – Layer up; you can always take layers off. Bring a rain jacket, sunscreen and sunglasses (polarized is best). Be prepared for all types of weather on he same day.
Gratuities – Typically, guides receive $160-$200 USD in gratuities per day (cash, paid directly to the guide), but we leave this choice strictly up to you based on performance
Meeting your guide
8:30 am at the Elk River Guiding CO. (791 7th Ave Fernie,B.C) on Hwy 3 in Fernie. If fishing on any other river in British Columbia, clients will meet their guide at the Kootenay Fly Shop at the time indicated.
How to Get Your BC Freshwater Fishing Licences
For Non-Residents and International Visitors
Note: You must have a Basic Licence in your cart before you can add Classified Waters licences.
Step 1: Get Your Credentials

Register for a BCeID: Create a free “Basic” account at

Generate your FWID: Log into the
using your BCeID to get your permanent Fish & Wildlife ID.BC WILD System
Step 2: Buy Your Basic Licence

Inside the WILD System, select “Buy Fishing Licences” → “For Myself.”

Select your residency status and duration (1-day, 8-day, or Annual)
Step 3: Add Classified Waters (If Required)
Non-resident Classified licences are river and date-specific.

Select the specific River (Class I or II) and your Dates (max 8 consecutive days).

If Guided: Enter your guide’s Angling Guide Licence Number.

If Unguided: Select “No.” (Check availability early as unguided quotas for certain rivers can sell out).

Complete Checkout: Pay via credit card or debit.
Step 4: Carrying Your Licence

Digital: Your FWID and Photo ID are sufficient for basic fishing and classified waters.

Paper: You must carry a printed paper copy if you have a Conservation Stamp or intend to keep fish, as harvest records must be recorded in ink.
Pro Tip: If you are booking a guided trip, your guide can now purchase these licences for you if you provide them with your FWID and legal name!
CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICIES
In order to secure space, a 50% advance payment is required at the time of booking. The balance is due 30 days prior to arrival. Advance payments are non refundable.

We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance.
We also suggest early reservations due to limited availability. Payments can be done by personal check or credit card. Credit card payments are subject to 4.3% surcharge.
