Meeting your guide

8:30 am at the Kootenay Fly Shop (821 7th Ave Fernie,B.C) on Hwy 3 in Fernie. If fishing on any other river in British Columbia, clients will meet their guide at the Kootenay Fly Shop at the time indicated.

Angling Licenses and Fees: B.C. has very strict fishing regulations. Each river that we will fish needs a specific license permit; therefore, you need two different licenses: a Basic license and a Classified License. We strongly recommend purchasing JUST your basic license, allowing us to help you purchase the correct classified license on your arrival; this gives us more flexibility on where fishing is better and more efficient with your time in Fernie.

A 1-day basic license is $24.- 1 day on a classified water license is $24.The total for 1 day is $48.- + tax.

If you come for more than 1 day in a row, there are special prices in licensing.
