I’d just like to say what a great fishing guide Andres is. My wife and I went fishing with Andres on the Elk River in 2017 and had a fantastic trip. The Elk is definitely one of the best cutthroat rivers in North America and Andres really helped us get the most out of our trip. The attached photo is just one of the many cutthroats both my fire and I caught.
He’s also a wealth of information and made the trip a pure delight. Andres also guides in Patagonia and we were there in 2019, and although we didn’t fish with him on this trip, one of friends did and had great trip.
If we ever go back down there (which we hope to do) I would definitely look him up.

Andres is one of the best of the best guides I have encountered
I have fished with him in both Canada and Chile; he delivers an overall outstanding fishing experience. What sets him apart is his passion for fishing and his desire to deliver an overall outstanding experience.
His local knowledge of the areas he fishes is as close to a guarantee of good fishing that exists in the unpredictable sport of fly-fishing. He knows the fish and their habits, their feeding patterns and how to fool them.
His photography is truly an additional bonus that I have found with no other guide. I have stills and videos that he provided which are lasting reminders of our great outings.
His streamside lunches are ones that stand out as well. They are normally hot lunches with more than enough variety to satisfy both the hungry and the picky.
The waters Andres fishes are some of the most beautiful in the world. His floats and hikes would be memorable even without the fishing.
I highly recommend Andres Fly Fishing.

We couldn’t have made a better choice
Me and my dad booked a trip with Andres on the Elk river and we couldn’t have made a better choice.
He showed us all the right places to cast and we landed 23 fish and had a blast doing it.
You can tell from the moment you hit the water he is very passionate about what he does and is very knowledgeable about the waters. His skill’s plus humour makes for a great time. the icing on the cake was his amazing 3 course lunch i couldn’t of asked for a better day we will definitely be back!

Highly recommended for any fly angler from the novice all the way to the most experienced
I have known Andres for 10+ years and have fished with him in British Columbia many times each season and 3 times in the Patagonia area of Chile. Our company has done multiple corporate trips through the years in BC, and I as well have done many trips with friends and family.
The guides Andres use to complete his team always measure up to his standards. It has been a great experience every single time. The knowledge Andres has is next to none, and his enthusiasm is contagious.
Along with that he has fun on the river and there is a smile on his face all day long. Highly recommended for any fly angler from the novice all the way to the most experienced fly fisher.

Andres is the best fishing guide I have encountered.
Andres is the best fishing guide I have encountered. He is a passionate, affable human being with deep knowledge of where the fish are and how to catch them. You will catch fish with this guy!
His is drone use in finding open holes and documenting your fishing experience is unique and great fun. Food on the river is gourmet, the atmosphere on the boat is upbeat and full of great fishing technique information.
If you are lucky enough to get your booking with him (book early), you will never regret it! Tight lines

We have fished the Elk for the last 40 years.
We have fished the Elk for the last 40 years. Andres is easily the best guide out there. He is very knowledgeable, knows all sections of the river very well and is a great coach on the water. His gear is spotless and top tier. Meal was terrific. Very flexible on the water to do what we wanted. Just the best!!! He should be your first call if you are looking for a great trip.
